A dispersion of very fine particles of graphite in an air drying resin Provides lubrication when oils and greases cannot be used. It prevents corrosion during shipping and storage. Thus, expensive parts can be protected from rust and are pre-lubricated, ready for immediate use, It provides a stable lubricating film at temperatures of -180°C to 350°C. Even though resin breakdown starts at this temperature, the Graphite continues to act as a dry lubricant up to 450°C.
